Coty over at cotygonzales.com did a review of Lowdtown shirt: Public Radio. Such kind words, can’t thank him enough. Watch the episode below and check out coty’s website!
Here’s a video I saw today that absolutely blew me away. This guy set up a virtual studio and recorded people around the world to create this collaboration. Most, if not all, of the artists are unknown people, but this is one of the best renditions I’ve ever heard. Check it out!
Here are two characters I came up with today. The one on the left is smoking a humongous pipe. And the one on the right is some strange intimidating girl.
I’m a dork and I actually really like anime. It’s sort of my guilty pleasure. So here’s a little satirical drawing I made.
In Lowdtown related news, I’ll be releasing the first set of Lowdtown toys in the first week of May. I might give you a sneak preview of the packaging, which will be sweet! So stay tuned folks!
I’ve been sketching a lot, so here are some of my most recent ones:
I like a few of these characters (i.e. The planet creature and the garbage bag character) so I might try to sculpt them later on when I have some time. I think they would look sweet as vinyls or plastic toys.
Here’s a new design I came up with called: Everyone Smokes.
This is just something I did in my free time, and I kind of like the way it turned out. I worked hard on the illustration and the colors are pretty funky. If it gets a good response, I might print it for Lowdtown.

The first is something you might be familiar with. The wall-e case mod has been making its ways around the interwebs, but today I found the complete step-by-step look at how the thing was made. Excuse my language, but this is fucking mindblowing! The dude pretty much constructed wall-e, like for real. It’s completely made out of metal, and he made each and every part. Ridiculous!
The other thing is a project from aM laboratory called: tone matrix.
This thing is a nifty synthesizer that’s really fun to play around with. You can make pretty cool beats with simply dragging your mouse around the board. Gets pretty addicting, because you can literally create hundreds of unique beats that actually sound good! Very simply, but elegantly, designed. Really impressive execution as well.
Hey, I launched fuwafuwapoo.com today! It’s my portfolio featuring a bunch of my awesome work, haha. The thing I’m most proud of is my motion reel, check it out below!
This is pretty much a culmination of a bajillion hours of work that was spent on each of those projects, and it feels really good to see them all in one clip. I sent it in to a motion graphics firm that I’m hoping to work for this summer, with me luck!
My blog has been getting a bit convoluted with a bunch of random things from the web lately, and to continue this little trend, here’s an animation that I did recently called: The Anatomy of an Itch.
It was created to make the viewer feel uncomfortable and uneasy. Put on a good pair of headphones because I worked hard on the sound.
