Really inventive webcam choreography, its awesome when people do stuff like this.
Amazing director of classics such as Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and so on, Tim Burton was featured at New York’s Museum of Modern Art recently. The exhibit has opened and is running through until April 26th. This video is a really good interview with the dude himself, about the exhibition and his feelings about art throughout his life.
Ever wonder what some of your favorite classic video games would look like performed by people in an auditorium? If so, Guillaume Reymond has directed some amazing stop motion videos for your viewing pleasure! There are videos for four games that make up the GAME OVER Project: Pong, Pole Position, Space Invaders, and Tetris. My favorites are the Tetris and Space Invaders videos. I absolutely love how the sounds are not from the actual games but are people’s voices! Which video is your favorite?
James Jean is, as you should definetly know, a fantastic painter and accomplished artist. ClickforArt have collaborated with him to make a cup and saucer, and they’re awesome. Much better pics here : http://clickforart.com/buyart/jamesjean/parchedcupandsaucer

I’m a sucker for package design. I’m sure every designer can appreciate this Pantone Potato Chips concept. What flavor is this?
I just learned about this site a few minutes ago, and after fiddling with it for a bit, it has become one of my favorite interactive sites. At Incredibox, you drag one of the symbols for instruments, percussions, effects, chorus, and voices and place it on one character’s t-shirt. Once this happens, they produce that sound that you selected. You can mix them up any way you like and have as many as seven different sounds going on simultaneously. When you don’t want a sound anymore, you can just click on the character to make him go away. For a nice variation of these sounds, you can even put this application on shuffle mode to let it run by itself. All of these sounds come from a French artist by the name of The Incredible Polo. It’s quite fun and a great way to enjoy a lazy Sunday!
If you dont know, the new Drop Dead line dropped last night, http://iheartdropdead.com – full of big cartoons, good looking models and pretty awesome cut and sew clothing shown in a sweet fullscreen lookbook.
They’ve done more and more cut and sew each line, which is great for any brand because it allows them to become more diverse and this line they’ve decided to even make their own shirts instead of using AA. It may seem kinda unnecessary, but then shirts like Ant Burner wouldn’t be possible. Some of the stuff looks like they’ve just found something to put their kitty logo on, which looks rad but isn’t that inspiring or interesting; however other things like the creative Wild Cats hoodie and the Spacewolf jumper definitely make up for it. I’ve decided to list my favourite 3 items in the new line, things which I think really showed the brand progressing and I would wear myself. Overall I really like the new line, but I much prefer the clothing items which seem to be more thought out, then the cheaper accessories. A+ !

I love seeing stop motion videos, and I remember coming across this music video for “Her Morning Elegance” by Oren Lavie a few months ago. I enjoyed hearing the song, but what I was blown away by were the amazing visuals! From free falling through the sky to swimming underwater, each scene on the bed was very believable and realistic. I can’t even imagine how long it took to make this video or how many different frames this required! This has definitely inspired me to mess around with stop motion, and I hope to find more incredible videos like this in the future!
Michael Sieben is one of my favourite artists, with a fantastic style and a great taste in films ! He recommended Wargames to me and it was a classic 80’s film about computers gone haywire, and I’ve probably watched it a dozen times now. I’m actually writing this to talk about his book, titled There’s Nothing Wrong With You (Hopefully).

Its a super awesome hardback with every page full of his work, from sketches to paintings and with a small foreword by Travis Millard. If you like Michael’s work then pick it up, and if you don’t like it, pick it up to realise you actually do like it. You can seriously spend hours just looking at all the pages of cute characters with knives in their backs and paintings of animals hugging mountains, and the sketch pages are awesome to see how his ideas can be so simple but creative.
It’s my book recommendation of the month, it’s $25, and you can buy it here : http://shop.msieben.com/products/theres-nothing-wrong-with-you-hopefully
