Munny to Help Haiti

Posted: January 17th, 2010 | Author: dunz0 | Filed under: Other | Tags: | No Comments »

I’ve been looking at tons of custom Munny toys lately, and just now I came across a new custom Munny being auctioned off in order to support the victims of the Haitian earthquake. This mini Munny toy is customized with stitched leather and aside from looking awesome, it was created for an amazing cause. All of the proceeds from this piece will be donated to the Red Cross. Check out the auction by clicking on the image below.

audrey kawasaki – progress of work

prog11 audrey kawasaki progress of work

Audrey’s drawings and paintings are truly beautiful, I love the simplicity and ornate lines she uses to illustrate her dark haired women. The link I’ve posted shows some of her work in progress and it’s inspiring to see her work in it’s rawwest form, still looking so delicate and elegant. The wood canvas, the simple lines, the women’s beauty, the subject material, everying about them I love.  Again, inspiration.

lego touch Lego lize !

One of the coolest yet pointless apps in a while, you literally ‘lego-lize’ a photo of whatever you want with the press of a button ! Basically it remakes your photo using tiny lego blocks. Plus, its totally free, so download it and try it if you have an iphone or ipod touch.

Parkour Motion Reel

Posted: January 12th, 2010 | Author: dunz0 | Filed under: Other | Tags: | No Comments »

I just saw this video a few minutes ago and it completely blew me away! Illustrated by Serene Teh, this video shows the art of parkour on paper. I cannot even imagine how long it took to create this beautiful piece. All that I can say is that it came together extremely well. See for yourself!

Skeg’s “Universal” Tee

Posted: January 12th, 2010 | Author: dunz0 | Filed under: Design | Tags: , | 1 Comment »

One of the coolest tees I’ve seen recently is a piece done by Derek Deal for the newly launched brand Skeg Clothing. It shows a jar that holds the entire universe, and the ginormous print definitely makes this look believable. I can’t help but be drawn to this piece, and I’m sure that this tee would get a few double takes out in public!

The Work of Ben Frost

twiggy 500 The Work of Ben Frost

His work is an explosion of pop culture references, colour and drips, and delivers a punch. While his paintings are considered mostly controversial, I love it and see nothing wrong with putting pikachu on a board with an orgasming asian cartoon.

The Third & The Seventh

Posted: January 9th, 2010 | Author: dunz0 | Filed under: Other | Tags: , | No Comments »

I saw this video by Alex Roman earlier today, and I have to say that it completely blew me away! Everything in this video is CG, but it all looks incredibly real. My eyes simply cannot believe that the elements in the video are computer-generated. If you love architecture and computer graphics, definitely check this video out. It’s insanely awesome!
